The intersection noted above is about a mile south of the Willey House Site, now a gift shop/snack shop. There is roadside parking for several cars here, but far better parking is located at the Willey Station Site (not to be confused with the Willey House Site). To reach this parking area follow the road on the west side of the intersection to its end in about 0.3 miles. This is the route of the southbound AT (to Section 4)The AT crosses US 302 in Crawford Notch opposite the road to the former Willey House Station - eight miles north of Bartlett and 10 miles south of Twin Mountain. --- Walk back down the road to US 302. The northbound AT (to Section 3) crosses the highway here. This section of the AT is known as the Webster Cliffs Trail.3/7/21 --- David Cullen --- http://maps.google.com/maps?q=44.170835%2C-71.387932&hl=en&ll=44.170862%2C-71.3… --- |
